What kind of pools do you build?
At JV serenity Xcapes we build in-ground gunite pools. We only offer this type of pool construction due its quality and durability.
What are the first things to consider before building a pool?
Building a pool is a dream come true but also a big commitment! You should have a realistic idea of a budget for your project and get some ideas (pictures, etc) of the type of pool you want in your yard. During the first meeting with your builder you should discuss these two important points.
How much does it cost to build a pool?
This is the most commonly asked question and the answer is not a simple one. The cost of your pool project is going to depend on many factors including design, materials, features, and decking among others. Concrete pools can range from 60K to over 150K. Some builders can quote your project faster than others but although home owners usually want a quick answer, it is the most accurate and honest approach to receive a quote after the design and materials have been chosen. This decreases the possibility of finding out "other charges" not included in the quote. The great news is that at JV Serenity Xcapes we plan your project to fit YOUR budget. How long does it typically take to build a pool?
Gunite/Concrete pools are fabricated completely on site, so they can take anywhere from 2 to 5 months to complete once the project begins. The spring and summer are usually busier times for pool contractors. It is always good to add an extra 2-3 weeks to the timeframe provided by your builder to allow for delays beyond control such as Mother Nature.
